“Suiseki — Stones and Silences” opens

The exhibition opened on Thursday evening with the artist present, over from Shigaraki for the hang. The twenty pieces occupy the main room, set at the eye line of a seated viewer.

A firing notebook, kept by the artist since 1996, can be consulted at the gallery.
